Artist Deborah Ugoretz will create a unique piece for your wedding, anniversary, bar or bat mitzvah, or other special occasion. Deborah works with symbols from your life - Jewish heritage, schools, travels, children - to make your Ketubah, award or gift personal and meaningful.

Deborah specializes in handpainted illumination and decoration, calligraphy in Hebrew and English and paper cutting.

 
 

News:

"Conversations"is a large installation of cut paper mobiles and sculpture with sound that I have been working on for several months. It will be shown in the PULP art exhibit opening March 21st at the New Jersey Art Center, Rahway, New Jersey, and run through April 16th. For more info go to www.rahwayartsguild.org

Two of my papercuts are included in the catalogue of the "Slash:Paper Under the Knife" Papercut exhibit at the Museum of Art and Design, New York City. The exhibit runs from October 11th through April 4th.

I have 2 portraits in the Strong Women show at the Newark School of the Arts from March 19th-April 23rd.
